Clean paths, editable output, export formats, and privacy matter a lot more once the file leaves the browser. Which AI vectorizer has given you the cleanest real-world results so far?
Hi, the section on local alternatives caught my eye, because that is exactly what I have been building.
VectorRaptor is a Windows desktop vectorizer. One thing up front, since this site is about AI: it uses no AI model at all. It is classical algorithms running locally on the CPU and an NVIDIA card, so images never leave the computer.
What it does: turns a PNG or JPG (a client's logo in poor quality, for example) into a vector you can actually edit - neighbouring shapes share their boundaries, a gradient stays one object, and you fix the result on the vector itself before exporting to SVG, PDF, AI, EPS, DXF or PSD with native shape layers. There is also a photo mode for large-format print.
From my own comparison tests it gives probably the best results of the tools I tried, but I would rather you checked that on your own files than took my word for it.
The demo has every tool except saving and export. For the full version: the code FIRST10VR100 gives the first month for free to the first 10 people, FIRST100VR50 gives 50% off to the next 100.
